Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Steel Detailer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a detailer with 12 months or more industry experience to step into a stable, long-term role within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work on a variety of steel frame and truss projects, utilising Revit or Vertex software, and collaborating closely with project managers and senior detailers to deliver accurate, high-quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed steel frame and truss drawings using Revit or Vertex
- Interpret architectural and engineering documentation and specifications
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure design accuracy
- Ensure all drawings comply with Australian Standards and project requirements
- Manage revisions and maintain accurate project documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of detailing processes and workflows
- Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Steel Detailer
- Proficiency in Revit and/or Vertex (steel framing or structural experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing standards
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time management skills
