About the Role
This is a key role supporting a range of mining and exploration projects across the Hunter Valley and beyond. You’ll provide technical expertise and strategic guidance across environmental approvals, assessments, and compliance, working in partnership with clients, regulators, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality environmental assessments and approvals
- Lead or support regulatory reporting and environmental management planning
- Provide trusted advice on environmental risk and compliance across project lifecycles
- Collaborate with specialists in ecology, planning, air quality, hydrology, and more
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
You’ll be a motivated and capable consultant with:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in an environmental role, ideally within mining or resources
- Strong knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong project management skills
- Be part of a respected consultancy with deep industry roots
