THE ROLE
This newly created role of Manager Communications and Engagement will report to the Director Community Development and is both creative and strategic, tasked with managing the communication and marketing of the City’s projects, initiatives, activities, decisions and services to the community and other stakeholders. Working closely with the Customer Experience Program Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the priorities of the Communications and Engagement team are well-aligned with the needs of the City’s customers and that customer interactions with the City are personalised, issues facing customers are responded to effectively and efficiently and a unified brand image is delivered across all platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
The City is seeking a Local Government professional with experience developing and leading a small-to-medium, high-performing team in marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement. Experience in leveraging a CRM to enhance marketing, communications and engagement will be essential, as will a relevant university degree and prior exposure working with Elected Members.
THE PACKAGE
In return, you will receive a generous base salary package of around $200,000 plus super plus five weeks’ annual leave and a nine-day fortnight, on a permanent contract.
