Our client is seeking a driven Management Accountant to join their Global Spill & Safety team in Australia and help them continue setting the standard for excellence in chemical and environmental safety.

Your Impact

Reporting to the Finance Controller, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial performance and future growth of the business. You’ll monitor, analyse, and report cost-related activities that drive smarter decisions across operations, procurement, and production. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Analyse and report cost data to support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Perform monthly cost allocations, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain and update standard costs for products, services, and processes.
  • Partner with operations teams to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee general accounting functions including AP/AR, reconciliations, and journals.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in cost or general accounting; ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to MYOB EXO or similar ERP systems an advantage.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and Australian Accounting Standards is highly regarded.
