The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to develop core estimating skills while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in supporting the estimating function, contributing to accurate project pricing, tender preparation, and overall commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders for steel fabrication and supply projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Perform quantity take-offs and assist with cost analysis
  • Liaise with internal teams including sales, production, and procurement
  • Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Maintain and update estimating databases and records
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems
About You
  • Tertiary qualification (or currently studying) in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general systems
  • Strong communication skills with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
