An industry leading Geotechnical Testing Organisation in Western Australia, our client provides efficient, accurate, and professional laboratory, solutions data and reports to industry professionals who value excellence in their field. They offer a wide range of testing services for various projects, including soil testing, concrete testing, aggregate testing, geological testing and assessment, and much more!

The Role

This role will suit an initiative-taking leader to manage, support, mentor, coach and further grow the group operations laboratories of the business associated with soil, aggregate and concrete. Together with a diverse and dynamic team of young passionate people, you’ll be involved in the operational delivery of multi-disciplinary projects for a range of clients based locally and throughout the State. To enable your success, you'll be well supported by the senior leaders of the business with ongoing support and professional development.

To Succeed in the Role

  • An experienced Operational Leader with a keen eye for opportunity.
  • A solid background in civil and mining infrastructure.  Knowledge of materials testing would be beneficial more importantly you’re well connected in civil and civil mining infrastructure.
  • Emotionally intelligent, insightful and willing to push the boundaries to ensure success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A willingness to take a hands-on approach.
  • Strong team player with the capability of also working autonomously.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan work, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Previous experience in soils and concrete laboratories or the construction industry is well regarded but not essential.
  • Valid Australian driving license and unrestricted working rights.
