The Opportunity

As the Australian Director of Sales , you’ll report directly to the Managing Director and take ownership of brand-specific sales and product strategy. This is your chance to shape the future of safety solutions in Australia, driving growth, building relationships, and delivering customised solutions for end-users and OEM customers. With a focus on spill containment, absorbents, and safety products, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding market share and enhancing offerings in the Asia-Pacific region.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead with Vision : Develop and execute a product sales strategy aligned with our client’s mission to protect workplaces and the environment.
  • Drive Growth : Boost revenue through strategic engagement with distributors, end-users, and OEMs, while meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Innovate and Strategize : Analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with operations to ensure seamless product planning and delivery.
  • Build Relationships : Cultivate strong partnerships with leading distributors and customers, leveraging 30+ years of industry trust.
  • Own the Numbers : Manage annual operating plans, profit margins, pricing plans, and stocking strategies to meet financial and customer goals.
  • Inspire Excellence : Work with top-tier professionals to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and merchandising strategies.

What You Bring

Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • 5+ years of sales and sales management experience in the safety or industrial channel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and PowerBi.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience managing independent manufacturer reps.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems and the safety supply industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (by car or air) up to 60% of the time.
