The Opportunity
As the Australian Director of Sales
, you’ll report directly to the Managing Director and take ownership of brand-specific sales and product strategy. What You’ll Do:
- Lead with Vision : Develop and execute a product sales strategy aligned with our client’s mission to protect workplaces and the environment.
- Drive Growth : Boost revenue through strategic engagement with distributors, end-users, and OEMs, while meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Innovate and Strategize : Analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with operations to ensure seamless product planning and delivery.
- Build Relationships : Cultivate strong partnerships with leading distributors and customers, leveraging 30+ years of industry trust.
- Own the Numbers : Manage annual operating plans, profit margins, pricing plans, and stocking strategies to meet financial and customer goals.

What You Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- 5+ years of sales and sales management experience in the safety or industrial channel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and PowerBi.
- Experience managing independent manufacturer reps.
- Deep knowledge of CRM systems and the safety supply industry.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (by car or air) up to 60% of the time.
