About the City of Wanneroo
Located on the northern fringe of the Perth metropolitan area, the City of Wanneroo is one of Western Australia’s fastest growing and most dynamic local governments. The City’s diverse landscape combines urban, rural and industrial land uses with expansive natural bushland and state forest areas. Residential areas dominate the urban landscape, supported by a network of commercial centres and key employment hubs, such as the established Wangara Industrial Area and the emerging Neerabup Industrial Area. With a current population of over 236,000 and a median resident age of 33, the City of Wanneroo is a young and rapidly growing community. About the Position
Reporting to the CEO, the Director Corporate Strategy and Performance plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of this rapidly growing City, through connecting strategic planning, financial management, people, technology and service delivery. The Directorate includes finance, workforce, digital systems, property, and procurement. The successful candidate will inherit a high-performing team of 176 FTE, including 12 direct reports, who together, drive innovation, strengthen accountability, and ensure the City’s internal systems and capabilities enable outstanding service delivery and sustainable outcomes for the community.

In Return
A five-year contract is on offer, with a remuneration package of up to $330,821 per annum, which comprises a base salary, superannuation (including the option to co-contribute up to 15%) and a vehicle or vehicle allowance. You will also receive five weeks’ annual leave, plus 12 executive leave days.
