The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for external and internal customers across all Global Spill & Safety product lines. You'll manage the full customer order process via phone or online, ensuring seamless fulfillment while identifying ways to enhance our systems and processes for an exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position offers clear pathways for advancement within 3-5 years as you contribute to our organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Process internal and external orders accurately and efficiently across all methods, meeting departmental standards for quality, productivity, and timeliness
- Research and resolve daily customer issues, including product availability, invoicing, proof of delivery, distribution, pricing, and logistics
- Maintain proactive communication with Sales, Marketing, Credit, Shipping/Traffic, and Planning teams to address and identify process improvements or opportunities
- Handle return authorisations and billing adjustments for reconciliation
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and a proactive approach to assisting customers and team members
- Stay updated on product information, marketing strategies, and system capabilities
- Investigate and recommend enhancements in customer-facing areas
- Develop, distribute, and monitor customer surveys to gather insights
- At least 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and ERP platforms
- Positive attitude with a desire for internal growth
- Professional telephone etiquette for all interactions
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
