The Company

Established in 1992, our client has built a standout reputation for delivering high‑quality signage at competitive prices.

For more than 30 years, their expert team of sign makers has helped businesses across Perth and throughout Australia elevate their brand and stand out from the crowd. By designing and custom‑crafting signage that boosts visibility, they help clients present as businesses people want to shop with, buy from, dine at, or engage with.

What truly sets them apart is their end‑to‑end approach. From creative design through to manufacture and professional installation, the entire sign‑making process is handled in‑house. This is made possible by their exceptionally talented design team and fully qualified sign makers, ensuring quality, consistency, and attention to detail at every stage .

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for hunting and generating new business by building and managing a structured prospecting plan, with a strong focus on outbound activity, client meetings, and site visits. The role owns opportunities end-to-end, qualifying leads against capability, timelines and margin targets, and progressing proposals through to signed purchase orders.

Alongside business growth, the role is responsible for managing and growing an assigned customer portfolio, maintaining regular call cycles, running quarterly reviews, and protecting margin through disciplined scope and variation control.

About You

We are looking for a driven sales professional who loves the chase, enjoys opening new doors, and has the following skills to succeed in the role:
  • Proven strength across prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Solid estimating capability, including take-offs, cost modelling, margin calculations, and hands-on (signage knowledge – preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills with disciplined document control using SharePoint.
  • Confident communicator with both production teams and customers, including the ability to clearly manage scope boundaries and variations.
  • Highly organised, able to juggle multiple active quotes, customers, and follow-ups while protecting margin.
Why This Role

The successful candidate will be provided support and mentoring to succeed, plus be rewarded with an excellent compensation package including Uncapped Commission and Car Allowance.
